What I miss:
Citrus trees, and gardens bursting with plants.
Japanese magnolias, giant plans, and cracked pavement.
Tiny houses with brightly painted doors that are the perfect size.
A mix of dilapidation and vivacity that can be beautifully southern gothic.
Spartan porches that aren't just for decoration, but for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day.
P.S. - Tell someone that you love them today. Don't take it for granted, you never know when it will be the last time.
